Comprised of members of the Los Altos Rotary Club and other community members, PEG meets monthly under the leadership of Chair David Smith to discuss projects, programs, services and events that would benefit individuals 50+ who reside in Los Altos and Los Altos Hills.
After a successful community wide event held last year to encourage adults 50+ to “Get Involved! Get Active!”, the committee will hold its 2nd Annual Event on March 23, 2013 entitled “Encore! Investigate your passion and get involved.” The interactive event will provide opportunity to explore new possibilities to enrich your life and benefit your community through volunteerism.
Future plans include exploring transportation options, scheduling additional events to provide education and information of interest to individuals 50+, and discussing opportunities for involvement by community members and organizations.
